Eco Sustainability’s Technical Commentary on Verra’s Version 5 of the Verified Carbon Standard

Eco Sustainability, an environmental consultancy headquartered in Singapore with a presence in Malaysia, Thailand, Cambodia, the Philippines, and Indonesia, has contributed to Verra’s consultation on Version 5 of the Verified Carbon Standard (VCS) Program.

This contribution reflects our role in shaping credible, transparent, and practical carbon market standards. Drawing on hands-on experience in forestry, blue carbon, and other nature-based climate solutions - as well as deep knowledge of policy trends and buyer expectations - our recommendations aim to ensure the VCS Program remains a trusted benchmark for environmental integrity, community benefit, and alignment with global climate goals.
